Meryl Sanders Viener

Senior Partner

Meryl Sanders Viener is a senior partner at The Sanders Firm. She has two decades of legal experience, which she applies to her legal practice in order to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. She is the daughter of Phyllis and Stanley Sanders, the founding partners of the firm, and she also works with her husband, Joseph Viener, who is a senior partner at The Sanders Firm. Her family has fought for justice for over five decades in New York.

Helping Families Harmed By Neglect & Wrongdoing

Meryl graduated from Washington University and obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School. She has dedicated her entire career to representing the injured and currently acts as a managing attorney of The Sanders Firm’s Mass Torts Litigation department. One notable case, filed against the landlords of children who were suffering the harmful effects of lead poisoning, resulted in over $30 million recovered for her clients.

Meryl is a frequent lecturer on mass torts and lead poisoning and is an active member of the UJA Federation of New York, which provides aid to those in need, inspires a passion for Jewish life and learning, and works to strengthen the Jewish people as a whole. She is a member of the Long Island Steering Committee for the UJA and the UJA Board of Directors.

Meryl is a proud mother of three children, an experience that strengthens her resolve to help families who have been affected by obstetrical malpractice and wrongdoing.
